What is THIO?
THIO is a complete field sales platform built for pest control businesses. It lets your sales reps inspect properties, generate proposals, capture signatures, and collect payments -- all from an iPad, all in one visit. No paper. No driving back to the office.
What devices does THIO run on?
THIO is built as an iPad-first web application. It works on any modern tablet or desktop browser, but the interface is optimized for iPad use in the field. No app store download required -- just open your browser and go.
Does THIO work offline?
THIO is designed to work with an internet connection for real-time data sync, payment processing, and digital signatures. We recommend ensuring your reps have reliable cellular or Wi-Fi connectivity in the field. Offline capabilities for core workflows are planned for a future release.
2 Getting Started
How long does setup take?
Most teams are up and running within a day. We help you configure your service catalog, pricing, and territories during onboarding. Your reps can start using THIO as soon as their accounts are created -- the interface is intuitive enough to learn on the first appointment.
Do you offer training?
Yes. Every plan includes onboarding support and access to our in-app help system with step-by-step guides. We also offer live training sessions to get your team comfortable with the platform. Our goal is to make sure every rep feels confident before their first solo appointment.
Can I import existing customer data?
Absolutely. THIO integrates with popular field service management platforms like ServiceTitan, PestPac, FieldRoutes, and Housecall Pro. We can sync your existing customer records, or you can import data via CSV.
3 Pricing
Is there a free trial?
We offer personalized demos so you can see exactly how THIO works for your business. During the demo, we'll walk through a complete sales workflow using your actual services and pricing. Contact us to schedule a demo and discuss trial options.
Can I switch plans later?
Yes. You can upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time. Changes take effect at the start of your next billing cycle. If you upgrade mid-cycle, you'll receive prorated credit for the remainder of your current plan.
What's included in each tier?
Visit our Pricing page for a detailed breakdown. In short: Starter covers the essentials for small teams, Professional adds advanced features like route optimization and custom branding, and Enterprise includes everything plus dedicated support and custom integrations.
Are there long-term contracts?
No. All plans are month-to-month with no long-term commitment. We also offer annual billing at a 20% discount if you prefer to pay upfront. You can cancel at any time.
4 Integrations
Does THIO work with my current software?
THIO integrates with the tools pest control businesses rely on -- QuickBooks and Xero for accounting, ServiceTitan and PestPac for field service management, Stripe for payments, DocuSign for contracts, and more. Check our Integrations page for the full list.
What if my FSM platform isn't listed?
We're constantly adding new integrations. If your field service management platform isn't currently supported, let us know during your demo. We prioritize integrations based on customer demand and can often add new connections quickly.
Can I use my own payment processor?
THIO uses Stripe Connect for payment processing, which provides PCI-compliant card capture, ACH transfers, and financing options. Stripe connects to your existing bank account for direct deposits. If you have specific payment processing requirements, let's discuss during your demo.
5 Security
Is my data secure?
Yes. THIO uses industry-standard security practices including encrypted data transmission (TLS 1.3), secure authentication, role-based access controls, and regular security audits. Payment data is handled by Stripe and never touches our servers.
Where is data stored?
Your data is stored on secure, enterprise-grade cloud infrastructure with automatic backups and redundancy. All data is hosted in the United States.
Do you comply with state regulations?
THIO helps you maintain compliance with configurable features like chemical usage logging, license tracking, and proper documentation. Our compliance rules engine can be configured per state to match local regulatory requirements for pest control operations.
